The Basket Company online store is designed to simplify the process of purchasing and sending gift baskets to one or multiple recipients. Just follow these simple steps:
1. Sending basket(s) to yourself. If you plan to hand-deliver a gift basket yourself, select the basket and indicate how many you wish to purchase. Then select: I'm Sending this basket to: "Myself."
2. Sending basket(s) to someone else. If you want The Basket Company to deliver your basket(s) to your recipient(s), follow the steps above but instead select: I'm Sending this basket to: "Someone Else." Enter a Nickname for each recipient such as "Mom" or "John." We will ask you for this person's shipping address at checkout. Your personal address book will also be updated with these addresses for later use.
3. You can add multiple baskets for "Yourself" or "Someone Else."
4. Checking Out. Once you have submitted all your baskets to your shopping cart, click checkout at the top of the page. The checkout page will list all the baskets and recipients that you have selected.
• You can increase or decrease, or completely remove any quantities of your selections from your cart.
• To calculate your shipping charges and taxes, click on "Edit Receiver" for each recipient.
• You can add a card with your own message for each gift basket. You can also give us special instruction
for delivery. For example, "Leave package behind back door."
• Once you have completed all of the recipients' shipping addresses and messages, click on "Billing Info,"
complete the credit card information and click "Submit." Processing your credit card may take up to
1 minute. Please do NOT click the Back or Cancel buttons.
5. A confirmation and receipt email will be sent to you shortly.
Cancelling an Order
Orders placed online may be cancelled according to the following schedule by contacting our Customer Service department. Call toll free: 1(800) 547-2979, or within the Greater Toronto Area: (416) 252-2265.
• Orders placed between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM EST may be cancelled on the same day
• Orders placed after 5:00 PM EST or on weekends and holidays may be cancelled on the next
If your basket or anything in it arrives broken or damaged, we will be happy to replace it. Please call customer service within 7 days to arrange for your replacement. Refunds/credits will only be issued to the original purchaser.
